Dagger
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
A short, edged, and pointed weapon for stabbing. It is given in the Ehud episode (Judges 3:16,21,22) as the English equivalent for "ḥereb," which elsewhere is rendered "sword." See SWORD).
