Hassenaah
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
The sons of Hassenaah rebuilt the fish-gate in the wall of Jerusalem (Nehemiah 3:3). The name occurs twice (Ezra 2:35 and Nehemiah 7:38) without the definite article, while in Nehemiah 11:9 (R. V.) and 1 Chronicles 9:7 (R. V.) it occurs in the form of "Hassenuah." See Cheyne and Black, "Encyc. Bibl."
