He was the author of "Ḥidah Mezuḳḳaḳah u-Ẓerufah," a rimed riddle on the subject of tobacco (Hamburg, 1693). His "Shir," a poem on the Pentateuch dedicated to the Talmudical students in Worms, bears the acrostic "Samuel of Worms" (; Hamburg, 1692).
