(Heb. Asarel', אֲשִׂרְאֵל, bound by God, sc. under a vow; Sept. Ε᾿σεραήλ v. r. Ε᾿σερήλ ), the last named of the four sons of Jehaleleel, of the tribe of Judah (1 Chronicles 4:16). B.C. prob. post 1618.
