(Hebrews Azanyah', אֲזִנְיָה , heard by Jehovah; Sept. Ἀζανία), the father of Jeshua, which latter was one of the Levites that subscribed the sacred covenant after the exile (Nehemiah 10:9). B.C. ante 410.
