Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb. Beno', בְּנוֹ, his son; Sept. υἱοὶ Βοννί in v. 2:26, and translates literally υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ in v. 2:27) is given as the only son, or the first of the four sons of Jaaziah the Levite, of the family of Merari, in 1 Chronicles 24:26-27; but there is much confusion in the whole passage.
