Bread, Day of
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a name sometimes given in the early ages of the Christian Church to the Lord's day, because of the general prevalence of breaking bread in the Lord's Supper on that day. (See LORDS DAY).
