a Protestant Episcopal clergyman of the diocese of Virginia, for at number of years was a chaplain of the United States army at Old Point Comfort;, a., and was also rector of Centurion Church in the same place. In 1867, although still holding he pastorate 'of Centurion Church, his services as chaplain were transferred to Fortress Monroe.
