Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb. קוֹוֹ, Kots, the same name elsewhere Anglicized Koz [q.v.], Sept. Κωἐ ), the father of Anub and others of the posterity of Judah (1 Chronicles 4:8, where, however, his own parentage is not stated, unless he be a son or brother of Ashur in 1 Chronicles 4:5). B.C. post 1618.
