Ctistolatrae

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

(κτιστολάραι l, called also, from their founder, Gajanitae) were a subdivision 'of the Aphthartodocetca (q.v.), themselves a sect of the Monophysites, who, in opposition to the Aktistetae, taught that the body of Christ was created.
