a Reformed theologian of Germany, doctor and professor of theology at Marburg, where he died, May 30, 1684, is the author of Radices Ling. S. Hebr. (Weimar, 1629, 1645,1649; Amsterdam, 1652): Manuale Hebraeo- Chald. at Belgicum (Frankfort, 1668): Kleiner Juden Katechismus (Cassel, 1650).
