Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

(Arab. practice) is the second of the two parts into which Islamism is divided, faith and practice. The din, or practice, consists of, 1, prayers and purifications; 2, alms; 3, fasting; and, 4, pilgrimage to Mecca.
