Diocesan Episcopacy
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
that system of Episcopacy in which the bishop has jurisdiction only over a certain number of parishes, or over a certain district of country, called a diocese. (See BISHOP); (See EPISCOPACY); (See DIOCESE).
