Durie, Andrew
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Scotch prelate, was made abbot of Melrose about September 24, 1527, and became bishop of Galloway in 1541. He probably died in September, 1558. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 278.
