a Congregational minister, was born at Stockbridge, Vermont, December 19, 1815; received his education in the Jamestown (N.Y.) Academy, and studied theology with Reverend James Donnell. He served several churches, retired in 1888, and died November 15, 1891. He was a corporate member of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions.
