a Methodist Episcopal minister was born in Middlebury, Vermont, August 29, 1810. He joined the Church in 1826, and in 1839 entered the Troy Conference, wherein he labored earnestly and faithfully as a pastor, chaplain, and missionary until 1869, when he became superannuated.
