a minister of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. He was Dr. McDowel's colleague in Mary's Abbey, Dublin, ordained co-pastor in 1791, and died in January 1843. He was intrusted by the synod of Ulster with the management of much of its public business, "and was remarkable for his tact and shrewdness."
