Jezreel, Tower of
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(מַגְדָּל, Sept. πύργος ), was one of the turrets or bastions guarding the entrance to the city, and sentinelled as usual by a watchman (2 Kings 9:17). See above.
