Judas Light, or Judas of the Paschal
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
was the name of a wooden imitation of the candle which held the real paschal in the seventh branch standing upright, the rest diverging on either side. See Walcott; Sac. Archoeol. s.v.
