a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born in Mecklenburg County,Virginia, August 25, 1797; converted in 1812; entered the South Carolina Conference in 1818; was stationed in Charleston in 1828, and died there, September 25th of the same year, of the "stranger's fever."
