(only in the plur. מַשְׁבְּצוֹת, mishbetsoth', textures, e.g. brocade, as Psalms 45:14; hence settings), bezels, in which gems are set; hence the sockets for fastening the precious stones in the shoulder-pieces of the high- priest's ephod (Exodus 28:11; Exodus 28:14; Exodus 28:25; Exodus 39:13; Exodus 39:16).
