Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb. Shedeur', שְׁדֵיאוּר , darter of light; Sept. Σεδιούρ v.r. Εδιούρ ), father of Elizur, which latter was chief of the tribe of Reuben at the time of the Exode (Numbers 1:5; Numbers 2:10; Numbers 7:30; Numbers 7:35; Numbers 10:18). B.C. ante 1658.
