Van Schoick, John

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Monmouth County, N.J., in A787. He was converted in November, 1808; admitted on trial at the Philadelphia Conference in 1810; and served at the following appointments: Asbury Circuit, 1810; Daluphin, 1811; Morris, 1812;. Trenton, 1813 and 1814; and Burlington in 1815, where he died in 1816, Mr. Van Schoick was exemplary in life and conversation, and was an acceptable and a successful preacher.
