Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

in Roman mythology, was the goddess of truth, whom the Greeks called Ἀλήθεια, a daughter of Jupiter or Saturn. She is also the mother of Virtue and Justice. She is represented as dressed in white.
