an English Congregational minister, was born at Zacatecas, Mexico, Aug. 17, 1836. Mr. Vetch graduated at New College, and commenced the work of the ministry in Australia in 1858-first at Melbourne, and latterly at Woolhara, near Sydney and won the respect and affection of men of every denomination. He died June 17, 1870. "His character was that of an exemplary Christian gentleman, and ever preferred principle to prosperity."
