Voluntary Offering
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(נְדָבִה, Exodus 35:29; Ezra 1:4; Ezra 5:7), a free gift (Ezra 3:5; Ezra 8:28; Ezekiel 44:12); chiefly a voluntary sacrifice opposed to one in consequence of a vow (Leviticus 22:23), metaphorically (Psalms 119:108). (See THANK-OFFERING).
