Woldike, Marcus

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Protestant theologian of Germany, born at Sommersted, in Sleswick, November 25, 1699, was professor of theology at Copenhagen from 1731, and died September 26, 1750. He is the author of, Caput Secundum ex Tr. Berachot Latine Vertit et cum Annotationibus Nonnullis Adjectis Edidit (Havniae, 1738): Tractatus Talm. Chagga cum Gemara Hierosol. Latine Versus Notisque Illustratus (ibid. 1735): Explicatio Numini Cujusdam Judaeo-cabbalistici (ibid. 1736): Mos. Maimonidis Tract. de Cibis Veitiis, etc. (ibid. 1722-34): Dicta Classica Veteris Testamenti (ibid. 1735): Apologia Concionator. Evangel. adv. Accusation. Episcopor. et Clericorum. Pontificior.
