The “Horns of Hattin” near Capernaum which tradition identifies as the site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-7:29 ). The reference to Jesus' ascending the mountain is perhaps meant to recall the story of Moses at Sinai (Exodus 19:3 ,Exodus 19:3,19:20 ).
