Prioress. Born near Montepulciano, Italy, c.1268;died there in 1317. She entered a monastery at nine, became prioress at fifteen, and founded a Dominican convent at Montepulciano, which she governed until her death. Canonized, 1726. Relics at Orvieto. Feast, April 20,.
