A — 1: ἐγγίζω

(Strong's #1448 — Verb — engizo — eng-id'-zo )

"to draw near, to approach," from engus, "near," is used (a) of place and position, literally and physically, Matthew 21:1; Mark 11:1; Luke 12:33; 15:25; figuratively, of drawing near to God, Matthew 15:8; Hebrews 7:19; James 4:8; (b) of time, with reference to things that are imminent, as the kingdom of heaven, Matthew 3:2; 4:17; 10:7; the kingdom of God, Mark 1:15; Luke 10:9,11; the time of fruit, Matthew 21:34; the desolation of Jerusalem, Luke 21:8; redemption, Luke 21:28; the fulfillment of a promise, Acts 7:17; the Day of Christ in contrast to the present night of the world's spiritual darkness, Romans 13:12; Hebrews 10:25; the coming of the Lord, James 5:8; the end of all things, 1 Peter 4:7 . B — 1: ἀπρόσιτος

(Strong's #676 — Adjective — aprositos — ap-ros'-ee-tos )

"unapproachable, inaccessible" (a), negative, and an adjective formed from proseimi, "to go to"), is used, in 1 Timothy 6:16 , of the light in which God dwells (AV, "which no man can approach unto;" RV, "unapproachable").
