properly of oxen, an onomatopeic word, "to low, bellow," is used of a lion, Revelation 10:3 .

(Strong's #5612 — Verb — oruomai — o-roo'-om-ahee )

"to howl" or "roar," onomatopoeic, of animals or men, is used of a lion, 1 Peter 5:8 , as a simile of Satan.
