מַזְלֵג m. (from the root זָלֵג; whence the Arabic دلج to draw out, the letters ד and ז being interchanged), a fork, for laying hold of pieces of flesh and drawing them up, a flesh-hook, 1 Samuel 2:13, 14 1 Samuel 2:14.
