Therefore, Son of man, speak to the house of Israel and say to them. Thus says the LORD God: Yet in this very manner your fathers have blasphemed before me in their iniquity which they dealt treacherously against me.

And you offer your gift offerings and make your sons to pass through the fire; you have polluted yourselves with your idols, even to this day; and yet you wish to inquire of me, O house of Israel? As I live, says the LORD God, I will not give you an answer.

Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, remembering the days of her youth in which she played the harlot in the land of Egypt;

I will give you to destruction, you will be sought for, yet you will not be found again for ever, says the LORD God.

Son of man, say to the king of Tyre, Thus says the LORD God: Because your heart is lifted up and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the heart of the seas; and yet you are a man, and not God, though you think of your heart as though it were the heart of God;

Perhaps you will still say before those who slay you, I am God. Yet you are but a man, and no God, in the hands of those who slay you.

Yet thus says the LORD God: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples among whom they were scattered:

Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon subjected all his army to many hardships against Tyre till every head was made bald and every shoulder weary; yet neither he nor his army received wages from Tyre for the service that he had performed against her;

To whom are you thus like in glory and greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet you were brought down with the trees of Eden to the nether parts of the earth; you shall lie among the uncircumcised with those that are slain by the sword. This is the fate of Pharaoh and all his army, says the LORD God.

Yet your people say, The way of the LORD is not fair; but it is their own ways that are not fair.

Yet you say, The way of the LORD is not fair; O house of Israel, I will judge every one of you according to his ways.

Son of man, those who inhabit these waste places of the land of Israel are saying, Abraham was only one man, and yet he inherited the land; but we are many; are we not going to inherit it?

As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil has come upon us; yet we have not prayed before the LORD our God, that we might repent from our iniquities and understand thy truth.

Therefore the LORD has stirred up this evil and brought it upon us; for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he has done, and yet we have not obeyed his voice.

And while I was yet praying and confessing my offenses and the offenses of my people Israel and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God,

Now I have come to let you know what shall befall your people in the latter days; for yet the vision is for the end of the days appointed.

And he said, Now I will show you the truth. Behold, there shall arise yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than all of them; and when he has become powerful in his own country, he shall stir up all the kingdoms of Greece.

And yet he shall become strong, and ally himself with a small people and with the rich cities; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers fathers; he shall carry away prey and spoil and riches; yea, and he shall devise plots against their provinces.

And the righteous men among the people shall teach many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by fire, by captivity and by spoil, for a thousand days.
