He saved us, not because we'd done something good, but because he did it all perfect and had mercy on our souls. He took the tally book of our sins and erased it once and for all through our new birth and new ride through the Holy Ghost.

God's plan all along was to bring his kids to him by the way of suffering. But it is not through our suffering that this plan of eternal life was enacted, but through the suffering of Christ—the perfect Boss.

So the Levites were the preachers of the Code of the Law, but obviously this code didn't make anyone perfect. That's why God came along and took us down the trail to perfection that Mel had started instead of continuing to follow the one that Levi and Aaron took.

That old agreement between God and his people was just the shadow on the ground of the real thing to come. Every single year, every sacrifice had to be made again and again. Animal blood just couldn't get the job done for very long. The cleaning it gave just wasn't pure. Following rules and sacrificing animals couldn't make anyone perfect.

If it could've made someone perfect, then there wouldn't by any need for more sacrifices. There'd have been no feeling guilty for anyone.

His one sacrifice made perfect all those who are being made holy by riding for his brand every day.

Shoot, you suffered right along with them and were thrown into jail. When everything was taken from you, you didn't bat an eye. You even called it joy. You knew there was something better waiting on you in the next life. The next life will be forever and perfect.

Our earthly fathers tried to discipline us and do a good job. But God's discipline is always perfect and always right and always good for us. This is how he teaches us to be holy.

Do not think this shell and this dirt is our forever home. We look forward to a new place that is perfect and without fault. A home that is to come.

Many of us have fallen off in many ways. Only someone who is perfect has stayed in the saddle in every situation, and is able to control every part of their body without ever losing a stirrup or their deep seat.

The currency used to buy you was the blood of Jesus. He was the only one pure and perfect enough to be the sacrifice that took away your sins.

But don't think the suffering will last forever. God's grace is going to make you eternal, perfect, stout, strong, and with a solid foundation that cannot be knocked down.
