The hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, every man to his home, and will leave me alone; yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.

for as yet they did not know the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

Jesus said to her, "Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."

Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."

Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

The saying spread abroad among the brethren that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, "If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?"

saying, "We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you intend to bring this man's blood upon us."

yet he gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot's length, but promised to give it to him in possession and to his posterity after him, though he had no child.

Yet the Most High does not dwell in houses made with hands; as the prophet says,

for it had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Though they could charge him with nothing deserving death, yet they asked Pilate to have him killed.

yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good and gave you from heaven rains and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness."

that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after him and find him. Yet he is not far from each one of us,

Then Paul said to him, "God shall strike you, you whitewashed wall! Are you sitting to judge me according to the law, and yet contrary to the law you order me to be struck?"

After three days he called together the local leaders of the Jews; and when they had gathered, he said to them, "Brethren, though I had done nothing against the people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

Do you suppose, O man, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God?

But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sins were not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.

What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I should not have known sin. I should not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet."

though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad, in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of his call,
