I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: the multitude of your gardens and your vineyards and your fig-trees and your olive-trees has the palmer-worm devoured: yet you have not returned to me, says Yahweh.

I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men I have slain with the sword, and have carried away your horses; and I have made the stench of your camp to come up even into your nostrils: yet you have not returned to me, says Yahweh.

I have overthrown [cities] among you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were as a brand plucked out of the burning: yet you have not returned to me, says Yahweh.

And when a man's uncle shall take him up, even he that burns him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say to him that is in the innermost parts of the house, Is there yet any with you? and he shall say, No; then he shall say, Hold your peace; for we may not make mention of the name of Yahweh.

For, look, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, like [grain] is sifted in a sieve, yet the least kernel shall not fall on the earth.

And I said, I am cast out from before your eyes; Yet I will look again toward your holy temple.

I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The earth with its bars [closed] on me forever: Yet you have brought up my life from the pit, O Yahweh my God.

And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

And he prayed to Yahweh, and said, I pray you, O Yahweh, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I hurried to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that you are a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness, and one who repents of the evil.

I will yet bring to you, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him that shall possess you: the glory of Israel shall come even to Adullam.

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for wages, and the prophets thereof tell the future for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say, Is not Yahweh in the midst of us? no evil shall come on us.

Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and a scant measure that is abominable?

Yet the land shall be desolate because of those that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

But Nineveh has been from of old like a pool of water: yet they flee away. Stand, stand, [they cry]; but none looks back.

Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity; her young children also were dashed in pieces at the head of all the streets; and they cast lots for her honorable men, and all her great men were bound in chains.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and shall not lie: though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.

Yet I will rejoice in Yahweh, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says Yahweh; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land, says Yahweh, and work: for I am with you, says Yahweh of hosts,

For this is what Yahweh of Hosts says: Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the work of your hands; yet you did not [turn] to me, says Yahweh.
