And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation to me; and my wrath, it upheld me.

Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing, that you have forsaken Yahweh your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord, Yahweh of hosts.

How you trim your way to seek love! therefore even the wicked women you have taught your ways.

Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; yet you have a prostitute's forehead, you refused to be ashamed.

Therefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, a wolf of the evenings shall destroy them, a leopard shall watch against their cities; every one that goes out from there shall be torn in pieces; because their transgressions are many, [and] their backslidings have increased.

As a cage is full of birds, so their houses are full of deceit: therefore they have become great, and waxed rich.

They were ashamed when they did these disgusting things. But, they did not feel ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among those that fall; at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, says Yahweh.

Therefore don't pray for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear you.

Therefore, look, the days come, says Yahweh, that it shall no more be called Topheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter: for they shall bury in Topheth, until there is no place [to bury].
