yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Brothers, I speak after the manner of men: Though it is but a man's covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void, or adds thereto.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;

yet to abide in the flesh is more needful for your sake.

though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh: if any other man thinks to have confidence in the flesh, I yet more:

yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him:

For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, joying and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

to the end that you are not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand;

Do you not remember, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

And [yet] do not count as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

For which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.

yet for love's sake I rather urge, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now a prisoner also of Christ Jesus:

You put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not see yet all things subjected to him.

For we do not have a high priest that can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that has been in all points tempted like [we are, yet] without sin.

though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered;

for he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchizedek met him.

And [what we say] is yet more abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Melchizedek there rises another priest,

the Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holy place has not yet been made manifest, while the first tabernacle is yet standing;

nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.

nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own;
