Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive it, so that your joy may be complete.

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage—I have conquered the world."

When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upward to heaven and said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, so that your Son may glorify you—

just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.

I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.

When I was with them I kept them safe and watched over them in your name that you have given me. Not one of them was lost except the one destined for destruction, so that the scripture could be fulfilled.

And I set myself apart on their behalf, so that they too may be truly set apart.

that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.

I in them and you in me—that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.

"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

I made known your name to them, and I will continue to make it known, so that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them."

Again Pilate went out and said to the Jewish leaders, "Look, I am bringing him out to you, so that you may know that I find no reason for an accusation against him."

Then, because it was the day of preparation, so that the bodies should not stay on the crosses on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was an especially important one), the Jewish leaders asked Pilate to have the victims' legs broken and the bodies taken down.

And the person who saw it has testified (and his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth), so that you also may believe.

For these things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled, " Not a bone of his will be broken ."

But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

This became known to all who lived in Jerusalem, so that in their own language they called that field Hakeldama, that is, "Field of Blood.")

For David says about him, ‘ I saw the Lord always in front of me, for he is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken .

Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,

so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that he may send the Messiah appointed for you—that is, Jesus.
