Have you ever heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you?

For the mystery was made known to me by a revelation; as I have briefly written you before,

And that I may enlighten all men that they may see what is the dispensation of the mystery, which for ages had been hidden from the world by God who created all things:

Therefore I ask that I may not grow weary in my afflictions for your sakes, which is for your happiness.

For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ,

For whom all fatherhood in heaven and in earth is named,

Now to him who is able by power to do for us more than anyone else, and to do for us more than we ask or think, according to his mighty power that works in us,

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

It is through him that the whole body is closely and firmly united at all joints, according to the measure of the gift which is given to every member, for the guidance and control of the body, in order to complete the edifying of the body in love.

Wherefore you must put away from you lying, and speak the truth every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet example.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things the anger of God comes on the children of disobedience.

For previously you were ignorant, but now you have been enlightened by our LORD, and should live therefore like children of light.

For the fruits of light are found in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth;

For it is a shame even to speak of the things that are done by them in secret.

For all things that are condemned are exposed by the light: and anything that is made manifest is light.

Who take advantage of their opportunity, for these are difficult days.

Giving thanks always for all men to God the Father in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of its body.
