But the heavens and the earth now, having been stored up by the same Word, are being kept for fire to a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, through which the heavens having been set afire will be dissolved; and burning, the elements will melt?

But according to His promise, we look for "new heavens and a new earth," in which righteousness dwells. Isa. 65:17

Because of this, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found in peace by Him.

They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have remained with us; but they left so that it might be revealed that they all are not of us.

See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

The one practicing sin is of the devil, because the devil sins from the beginning. For this the Son of God was revealed, that He might undo the works of the devil.

not as Cain was of the evil one, and killed his brother. And for what did he kill him? Because his works were evil, but the things of his brother were righteous.

For the one speaking a greeting shares in his evil works.

Beloved, in regard to all things, I pray for you to prosper and to be in health, as your soul prospers.
