I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; [fn] for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

11 "You are worthy, O Lord, [fn] To receive glory and honor and power;For You created all things,And by Your will they exist [fn] and were created."

And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart [fn] of wheat for a denarius, [fn] and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."

When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. [fn] And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.

The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.

So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.

For their power [fn] is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.

But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.

but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them [fn] in heaven any longer.

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."

But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue [fn] for forty-two months.

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed [fn] from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
