But I saw no temple therein: for the LORD Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

The city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God lightens it, and the Lamb is the lamp of it.

And the gates of it shall not be barred by day: for there is no night there.

In the midst of the great street of the city, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve kind of fruits, and each month it yielded one of its fruits; and the leaves of the trees were for the healing of the people.

And there shall be no night there; and they shall neither need a candle, nor the light of the sun; for the LORD God shines on them: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Then he said to me, Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

For without are the vicious, and magicians, and the immoral, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves to tell lies.
