If we are sure He hears us when we ask, we can be sure He will give us what we ask for.
1 John 5:16

You may see a Christian brother sinning in a way that does not lead to death. You should pray for him. God will give him life unless he has done that sin that leads to death. There is a sin that leads to death. There is no reason to pray for him if he has done that sin.

And now I ask you, lady, that we have love one for the other. I am not writing to you about a new Law but an old one we have had from the beginning.

Watch yourselves! You do not want to lose what we have worked for. You want to get what has been promised to you.

Everyone speaks good things about Demetrius. The truth itself speaks for him. We say the same thing also and you know we are speaking the truth.
3 John 1:15

The church leader writes to the much-loved Gaius. I love you because of the truth. Dear friend, I pray that you are doing well in every way. I pray that your body is strong and well even as your soul is. I was very happy when some Christians came and told me about how you are following the truth. I can have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth. Dear friend, you are doing a good work by being kind to the Christians, and for sure, to the strangers. They have told the church about your love. It will be good for you to help them on their way as God would have you. These people are working for the Lord. They are taking nothing from the people who do not know God. So we should help such people. That way we will be working with them as they teach the truth. I wrote a letter to the church. But Diotrephes wants to be the leader and put himself first. He will have nothing to do with us. So if I come, I will show what he is doing by the bad things he is saying about us. Not only that, he will not take the Christian brothers into his home. He keeps others from doing it also. When they do, he puts them out of the church. Dear friend, do not follow what is sinful, but follow what is good. The person who does what is good belongs to God. The person who does what is sinful has not seen God. Everyone speaks good things about Demetrius. The truth itself speaks for him. We say the same thing also and you know we are speaking the truth. I have much to write about but I do not want to write it in this letter. I hope to see you soon and then we can talk together. May you have peace. The friends here greet you. Greet each friend there by name.

Dear friends, I have been trying to write to you about what God did for us when He saved us from the punishment of sin. Now I must write to you and tell you to fight hard for the faith which was once and for all given to the holy people of God.
Jude 1:7

Do you remember about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns around them? The people in those cities did the same things. They were full of sex sins and strong desires for sinful acts of the body. Those cities were destroyed by fire. They still speak to us of the fire of hell that lasts forever.
Jude 1:11

It is bad for them! They have followed the way of Cain who killed his brother. They have chosen the way of Balaam and think only about making money. They were destroyed as Korah was destroyed who would not show respect to leaders.
Jude 1:13

They are like the waves of a wild sea. Their sins are like the dirty water along the shore. They look like stars moving here and there. But the darkest place has been kept for them forever.

Save some by pulling them out of the fire. Have loving-kindness for others but also fear them. Be afraid of being led into doing their sins. Hate even the clothes that have touched sinful bodies.

Remember how you once loved Me. Be sorry for your sin and love Me again as you did at first. If you do not, I will come to you and take your light out of its place. I will do this unless you are sorry for your sin and turn from it.
