The day began to draw to a close. The Twelve came to him and said, "Send the crowd away, so that they can go and get lodging and food in the towns and farms around here, because where we are is a remote place."

But they didn't understand what he meant by this. It had been concealed from them so that they would not grasp its meaning, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they come and live there — so that in the end the person is worse off than he was before."

and in great anguish he prayed more intensely, so that his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.
