Beware therefore, lest that come on [you] which is spoken in the prophets:

Therefore they tarried [there] a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who bore witness to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commands men that they should all everywhere repent:

Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was in confusion; and most didn't know why they had come together.

If therefore Demetrius, and the craftsmen that are with him, have a matter against any man, the courts are open, and there are proconsuls: let them accuse one another.

You, therefore, should not yield to them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, who have bound themselves under a curse, neither to eat nor to drink until they have slain him: and now they are ready, looking for the promise from you.

He hoped as well that money would be given him of Paul: therefore also he sent for him the more often, and communed with him.
