Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? Yet among many nations there was no king like him, who was beloved of his God; and God made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless pagan women caused even him to sin.

"All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet his food in his stomach turns sour; It becomes cobra venom within him.

Yet they say to God, "Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.

Yet he shall be brought to the grave, And a vigil kept over the tomb.

Yet He filled their houses with good things; But the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

They press out oil within their walls, And tread winepresses, yet suffer thirst.
