But the Lord abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment,

Put them in fear, O Lord ; Let the nations know that they are but men. Selah.

But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

You would put to shame the counsel of the afflicted, But the Lord is his refuge.

In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honors those who fear the Lord ; He swears to his own hurt and does not change;

They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my stay.

For You save an afflicted people, But haughty eyes You abase.

For who is God, but the Lord ? And who is a rock, except our God,

They cried for help, but there was none to save, Even to the Lord , but He did not answer them.

Some boast in chariots and some in horses, But we will boast in the name of the Lord , our God.

They have bowed down and fallen, But we have risen and stood upright.

O my God, I cry by day, but You do not answer; And by night, but I have no rest.

But I am a worm and not a man, A reproach of men and despised by the people.

But You, O Lord , be not far off; O You my help, hasten to my assistance.

For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from him; But when he cried to Him for help, He heard.

But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity; Redeem me, and be gracious to me.

For my father and my mother have forsaken me, But the Lord will take me up.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

I hate those who regard vain idols, But I trust in the Lord .

But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord , I say, "You are my God."
