Then Hannah prayed and said, "My heart rejoices in the LORD; My horn is exalted in the LORD, My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.

"Behold now, I open my mouth, My tongue in my mouth speaks.

The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, And his tongue speaks justice.

Whose mouth speaks deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

Rescue me and save me from the hand of foreigners, Whose mouth speaks deceit And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

"Their tongue is a deadly arrow; It speaks deceit; With his mouth one speaks peace to his neighbor, But inwardly he sets an ambush for him.

"You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, express any good things? For the mouth speaks from that which fills the heart.

"The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;
