but I say to you, that every one that divorces his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, makes her commit adultery: and whoever marries her that has been divorced commits adultery.

And I say to you, Whoever divorces his wife, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery.

You do the works of your father. Therefore they said to him, We were not born of fornication; we have one Father, [even] God.

but that we write to them, that they abstain from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.

that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which if you keep yourselves, it shall be well with you. Farewell.

But as concerning the Gentiles that have believed, we wrote, giving judgment that they should keep themselves from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication.
